We needed a product that would enhance our overall suite of offerings to boost financial wellbeing and empower employees. The goal was to create a rewards programme that provided tangible benefits and supported employees' financial wellbeing. To expand our user base, we aimed to bypass the need for employer payroll integration. By going directly to employees, we avoided accessing sensitive payroll data and streamlined the sign-up process, making it easier for employees to join and benefit from the rewards programme.

  • User Research: Conducted through Typeform surveys to gather initial insights and understand user needs. This step was crucial to ensure that the programme addressed real pain points and provided meaningful benefits to the employees while we tackled a business problem.

  • Wireframes: Developed based on user research, created low-fidelity prototypes to visualise the structure and flow of the rewards programme. This helped in aligning the team on the design direction and identifying any potential issues early on.

  • User Testing: Conducted multiple rounds of user testing to validate the wireframes and gather feedback. This iterative process ensured that the design was user-friendly and met the expectations of the employees.

  • MVP Development: Built the MVP incorporating the feedback from user testing. It focused on delivering the core features of the rewards programme while allowing room for future enhancements which included a search and location-based offer feature.

  • Iteration and Final Product: Over the course of development, we continuously iterated on the MVP based on user feedback and performance metrics. This iterative approach ensured that the final product was well-polished and effectively met the needs of the users.
